Bread 01

An eNote from Rev. Nancy

Friday, August 3, 2018

Welcome, August!

I’m excited to be looking out the window and see blue skies! Hope this finds you all taking care wherever the first Friday in August finds you.

I’m always excited to celebrate Holy Communion with you,

which we will do this Sunday. Our scripture texts are:

Ephesians 4:1-16

Psalm 78:23-29

and John 6:24-35

If you’re an early riser and would like to share some daily bread before enjoying it during worship, join the Trinity family who are serving breakfast at Pritchard Park this Sunday. Meet at the church at 8:30 AM or 9 AM at the Park to both bless and receive a blessing.

Our new AC units are up and running, and I think you’ll be pleased! Remember, we have a month to complete our Capital Campaign challenge to offset the cost and make me (and the staff! Don’t tell them, as it’s a surprise and they probably don’t read the eNote!) do the Shiggy Challenge on Haywood Road (NOT in a car – just on the sidewalk!).

I’ll be off on vacation starting Aug. 6, going to serve the Congregational Church on Frenchboro, Outer Long Island, for Aug. 12 and then returning our daughter Sophie to Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME, for her sophomore year. I’ll be back in office on Aug. 21. If you have pastoral care needs, please contact the Rev. Darryl Dayson, who will be here and available. Remember, we use a Google Voice # for pastoral care emergencies, and that number is 828-412-0429, and it will ring directly to his phone while I’m away.

See you Sunday!

Peace~

Nancy✜
