The best way for you to learn what we believe is to join us for worship. From there, perhaps we can have a cup of coffee and talk more deeply about the kind of Christians we strive to become.
We affirm our belief through traditional worship as expressed in the universally accepted Apostles’ Creed, which says:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;* the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic** church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
We also embrace the teaching of our founder John Wesley who believed that Christian faith involved thinking, loving and action. At Trinity, we call this a faith of the head, the heart and the hands: a faith of worship, learning and generosity.
