Happy Friday from the Church Home Office!
I was in the church kitchen cleaning some dishes I’d used this morning and wondered who had most recently washed the dish towels for our church kitchen. It’s a thankless job, because I don’t know who to thank! So, if you’ve ever taken home church dish towels to wash, thank you! It’s the little things . . .
Speaking of little things . . .
Remember your small contributions to Red Wagon Sunday, which is THIS Sunday! We’re collecting snacks for Emma Elementary’s after-school clubs and programs (packs of crackers, cookies, fruit cups, fruit snacks, etc.) along with personal hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, etc.)
Candy for the Egg Hunt is needed (individually wrapped). A collection basket for it is available outside the sanctuary door.
And don’t forget to offer an Easter lily in honor or memory of a loved one. The due date for those is Monday, March 26. Forms are available on the hall table next to the elevator or call the church office.
This Sunday is the final in our Lenten Rehab series, and the theme is PROMISE. Our focus text is Jeremiah 31:31-34. We’ll also revisit our Ash Wednesday psalm, Psalm 51. The 40 days are coming to an end, and each day of Lent is like a small step of a rehab journey. Thank you for taking the journey, and we hope to see you Sunday!
Peace~
