Where did you grow up and how long have you been in Asheville?
I am still working on growing up (haha!) but I have lived in Asheville my entire life.
What kind of work do you do?
I was in the roofing business in Asheville and Buncombe County for over 40 years. Now that I am retired I hang around the church alot and have a part time position as custodian.
What do you like to do in your free time?
My favorite hobby is trout fishing. While fishing I can make the world go away and concentrate solely on what prize lies in the next hole.
How long have you been a member at Trinity, and what do you like best about it?
I have been a member of Trinity since 1985 and the things I like best about it is everything! This church is a part of me, and I am a part of this church. Its people are so straight forward and friendly and accepting of all. I love this church.
What is something interesting about yourself that others might no know?
Having been in the roofing business I always hoped I would be part of re-roofing the church some day. As fate would have it, I was on the trustees committee at that time and was able to oversee the project.
