Our Mission
The mission of Trinity United Methodist Church (TUMC) is “A Place To Belong. A Community That Serves. Growing In God’s Abundant Grace.”
To fulfill our commitment to serve and following the example of Christ, TUMC will make its facilities available to church and service groups both inside and outside of our congregation. The facilities may be used by non-member groups and individuals as outlined in our building usage policy. TUMC regards this non-member use as part of the church’s service to the community. Use of church facilities by outside groups on a regular basis must receive the approval of the Church Trustees.
Requesting Building Usage
Building usage may be requested for one time meetings, weekly meetings or classes, or events. To inquire about building usage, email our Community Engagement Coordinator, Jess Godden (jess@trinitywavl.org). Please include the following in your email:
- The name of your group or organization
- Type of usage (one time meeting, weekly, events, etc.)
- Background information/context on your request for usage
- How many people are anticipated (roughly)
- Any equipment or access needs
- Contact information for your point person for organizing and logistical communication
Notice
Currently, Trinity is at capacity for weekly evening meetings. You are welcome to reach out and inquire. We have several camps reserving space over the summer. We will do what we can to accommodate your group.
