Happy Fourth Week of Advent, 3 days before Christmas Friday!

A sweet friend shared the above with me a few days ago…hope you might find some humor in it as I have! So, yes, things are crazy busy, but I am so grateful around 25 of the church family had some time together last night to go caroling at Aston Park Rehabilitation Center and then down Haywood Rd. (a shout out to the crowds who graciously received our merriment at the Oyster House, Standard Pizza, Ingles, The Mothlight, and the Family Dollar!).

Remember, Sunday morning Sunday School is an intergenerational group gathering in the Fellowship Hall (we’ll have pastries/ muffins, juice and coffee) discussing some of the similarities and differences of Christmas art through the ages. Food will be ready at 9:45AM and the class begins at 10AM.

Our Christmas Eve Lessons & Carols service begins with music at 5:15PM. Many folks are participating and we will share Holy Communion before the lovely candle lighting with “Silent Night.”  If you are traveling, you will be missed. If you are in town, we look forward to sharing this time with you and all your guests.

Peace, my friends!
