Good afternoon, church family!

A recent “throw-back Easter” photo of of a TUMC church member and family at an Easter from a number of decades ago…

…Which started me thinking how fun it would be for any of you who are willing to send in your own Easter photos from your childhood, whether or not they took place at TUMC. We’d love to share them with the church family! If you do, please post them to our Trinity Facebook page .

I also came across a lovely video (click on the link) this week in honor of World Down’s Syndrome Day (March 21) that offers a vision of Resurrection and the Kingdom of God Jesus came to show us can happen here on earth. These 4 minutes make me want to learn the sign language to the song with you all to offer West Asheville as a kind of carpool karaoke Easter gift! (Ok, maybe blast on big speakers with us on the front lawn during the 50 days of Easter…anybody in with me?!?)

• Easter Lily orders will be taken through this Monday.
• Newsletter articles are due today! (maybe Monday if you promise Lee you’ll join the choir or handbells!)
• Scriptures for this Sunday are classic Palm Sunday – Psalm 118:19-29 and an extended dramatic reading of the Passion from Mark’s Gospel, 14:1 – 15:47. We could use some extra readers and acolytes to carry in props if you’re willing to help out. Please email or call me asap (336-341-7612).
