A blessed 2nd Friday of Lent to you all! As we head toward the 2nd Sunday of Lent, here are the scriptures we’ll be using in worship:  Genesis 17:1-7; 15-16, Psalm 22:25-31, and our sermon focus scripture is Mark 8:31-38. Our focus this Sunday in the Rehab Sermon Series will be Intervention.

We had a good Congregational Meeting last Sunday after worship, discussing with positive feedback the very real possibility of designating a memorial garden for cremains as well as our current finances (finance reports are available on the hallway table). The Church Council decided to do a simple survey/ poll to ask the congregation about the possibility of undertaking a capital campaign to help to provide HVAC for classrooms and offices that are used for ministry but not heated or cooled during the week. Please take one minute (ok, maybe it will take 2 minutes!) to offer your response on the survey through this link:

This Sunday is also Scout Sunday, and we welcome the Cub Scouts from Troop 3 who will assist us in worship. Trinity helped to establish Troop 3, and we are delighted a new generation of scouts are a part of the Trinity community!
