TRINITY SUNDAY EDITION
A pleasant Friday to you all on this Memorial Day weekend!
Lots happening around here – both front steps repair by Paul Sprouse and back steps repair by Darryl Parker and Glenn Parham have taken place this week. If you don’t know Paul, he is a member who lives in Raleigh and works for the State of NC. He has a passion for making sure our front steps are not only safe but in keeping with the tremendous stonework tradition of those craftsmen who originally built them. Whenever he is in town on a job, he often comes by to work on the front steps.
Make sure you take a look at his work…and while you’re out there, notice the lovely plantings in the planters gifted to us by Jesse Ross of Ross Brothers’ Landscaping.
…and while you’re out there, notice that the lovely lilies are beginning to bloom!
Remember the 6 PM Sounds of Unity Concert tonight in our sanctuary, supporting the MusicWorks music education program for our neighbors at Hall Fletcher, Vance, or Asheville Primary Schools.
If you’re traveling this weekend, know you will be in our prayers and missed! If you’re in town, we’ll hopefully see one another this Sunday. It’s Trinity Sunday, and scripture for worship include Romans 8:12-17 and John 3:1-17. Looking forward to celebrating another wonderful church holiday with you!
Peace~
